NextBus offers a large variety of signs of different sizes. Two-line signs are well-suited to transit operations because they permit broadcasting real-time arrival information on one line and a message on the other line. A two-line sign using scrolling can effectively show predictions for four or more routes. Multiple-line signs can show arrival predictions for many lines simultaneously.

NextBus has extensive experience working with transit agencies to come up with the best solution for signage at each location. Electrical power wired at the stop is the most cost-effective way to install a real-time arrival sign. Other options include solar power or power from a nearby street light. Both solar and street light solutions require chargers and batteries for when the sun is not shining or when the power to the street lights is not on.
NextBus has also installed full-color, dynamic LCD signage featuring real-time arrival information. We partner with well-known manufacturers to provide riders with high-quality arrival information monitors and kiosks.
